Project Engineer - Aviation

Position Overview
The Project Engineer - Aviation will be responsible for performing design for aviation engineering projects. This role requires a strong background in civil engineering with a focus on aviation.

Key Responsibilities

Apply knowledge of engineering to design and manage aviation projects.
Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments for aviation projects.
Prepare and review engineering designs and plans using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
Coordinate with stakeholders, including contractors, government agencies, and clients, to ensure project requirements are met.
Monitor project progress and performance, addressing any issues that arise.
Prepare project documentation and reports for stakeholders and regulatory agencies.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
5+ years of experience in civil engineering, preferably with aviation project experience.
Texas Professional Engineer (PE), or ability to obtain within 6 months if licensed in another state.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, aviation specialty programs.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Familiarity with ProjectWise is a plus
