We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Tax Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in tax accounting and a strong understanding of the needs of high net worth and ultra high net worth individuals, particularly in family office settings. The Tax Accountant will be responsible for preparing and reviewing tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and providing strategic tax planning advice to clients.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients.
Conduct thorough tax research to ensure compliance with current tax laws and regulations.
Provide tax planning strategies to clients, focusing on maximizing tax efficiency and minimizing liabilities.
Assist clients in understanding their tax obligations and providing recommendations for tax-related issues.
Collaborate with other financial professionals within the family office to provide comprehensive wealth management services.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax regulations and changes that could impact clients' financial situations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA certification is required
Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax accounting, preferably with high net worth or ultra high net worth clients.
Strong knowledge of individual and corporate tax regulations.
Experience working in a family office environment is highly desirable.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
