Position Overview
The Supply Chain Director is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the supply chain, ensuring efficient and effective operations that align with the organization's strategic goals. This role involves leading a team of supply chain professionals, optimizing processes, and enhancing the overall supply chain performance.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement supply chain strategies to support organizational goals.
Oversee logistics, procurement, and inventory management functions to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
Lead cross-functional teams to enhance collaboration and improve supply chain processes.
Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to secure favorable terms and conditions.
Utilize data analysis and ERP systems to monitor and improve supply chain performance.
Implement process improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing principles to streamline operations.
Forecast demand and manage inventory levels to minimize costs while meeting customer needs.
Identify and mitigate risks within the supply chain to ensure continuity of operations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
10+ years of experience in supply chain management or related fields, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Strong skills in logistics, procurement, inventory management, and strategic sourcing.
Proven experience in demand planning and vendor management.
Expertise in process improvement methodologies and lean manufacturing.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive organizational change.
Proficient in data analysis and utilization of ERP systems.
Excellent negotiation skills and experience in contract negotiation and risk management.
