Senior Tax Manager

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Tax Manager to oversee our tax planning and compliance activities. This role will manage a team of tax professionals and ensure that all tax-related matters are addressed efficiently and accurately, while also providing strategic tax advice to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the tax compliance and planning process for various entities including partnerships, C-Corps, S-Corps, and non-profits.
Review and prepare federal and state tax returns, including Forms 1120, 1065, 1040, 990, and related schedules.
Provide advisory services on tax planning strategies and compliance issues to clients and internal teams.
Supervise and mentor junior tax staff, providing training and development opportunities.
Stay current on tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and identify opportunities for clients.
Collaborate with other departments to align tax strategies with overall business goals.

Qualifications

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax management or related field, preferably in a public accounting firm.
Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations and compliance requirements.
Experience with partnership tax, corporate tax, and non-profit tax issues is a plus.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage teams and client relationships.
