Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electrical system design, particularly in K-12 and commercial projects. This role requires a deep understanding of engineering principles to deliver innovative solutions that meet project requirements and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of electrical systems for K-12 and commercial projects.
Collaborate with architects and other engineers to ensure integration of electrical systems with overall project design.
Prepare detailed electrical system designs, specifications, and drawings using Revit.
Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
Oversee project timelines and budgets, ensuring that projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and interns.
Coordinate with contractors and vendors to procure materials and oversee installation processes.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
State of Michigan Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical system design for K-12 and commercial projects.
Proficiency in Revit and Bluebeam software.
Strong knowledge of power systems lighting and power system design.
Experience with auxiliary systems, CCTV, fire alarm, and access control is a plus.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
