Safety Coordinator

Position Overview
The Safety Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and implementing safety protocols and measures to ensure a safe working environment in compliance with OSHA regulations. The role focuses on enhancing safety standards within the organization, particularly in data center and construction environments, while conducting regular inspections and safety audits.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement safety policies and procedures in accordance with OSHA regulations.
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Provide safety training and education to employees to foster a culture of safety awareness.
• Prepare and maintain safety analysis reports to document findings and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with project managers and team members to ensure safety protocols are followed on construction sites and data centers.
• Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30 certification is required.
• Previous experience in safety coordination within data center or construction environments preferred.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
• Additional safety certifications a plus (CHST, First Aid, CPR, etc). 
• Experience in conducting safety audits and inspections.
• Ability to create and deliver effective safety training programs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
