Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Cooperative and Condominium Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will specialize in real estate law with a focus on cooperative and condominium developments. This role involves providing legal advice, drafting and reviewing documents, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations related to real estate transactions and property management.

Key Responsibilities

Provide legal counsel on cooperative and condominium matters
Draft and review legal documents including leases, purchase agreements, and bylaws
Represent clients in negotiations and disputes regarding real estate transactions
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
Conduct legal research and stay updated on relevant real estate laws
Advise clients on matters related to property management and tenant issues
Assist in the formation and governance of cooperative and condominium associations

Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction
Minimum of 3 years of experience in real estate law, specifically with cooperatives and condominiums
Strong understanding of laws and regulations governing real estate transactions
Excellent negotiation and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively under pressure
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
