Construction Project Manager - Heavy Civil

Position Overview
The Construction Project Manager - Heavy Civil will be responsible for overseeing and managing large-scale construction projects within the heavy civil sector, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage all phases of heavy civil construction projects, from pre-construction to completion.
Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets while ensuring resources are effectively allocated.
Coordinate and collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project goals are met.
Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and ensure adherence to safety regulations and quality standards.
Prepare and present project updates to stakeholders and management, addressing any challenges that may arise.
Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
Utilize scheduling software and estimating tools to manage timelines and budgets effectively.
Oversee procurement of materials and equipment necessary for project execution.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in construction project management, specifically in heavy civil projects.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations pertinent to heavy civil work.
Proficient in project management software and scheduling tools such as CPM Scheduling.
Experience with estimating and costing, including proficiency in estimating software.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively manage teams and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
Ability to analyze problems and develop practical solutions in a fast-paced environment.
