Salary: $90,000 - $175,000

Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Pre-Litigation Attorney to join our growing legal team. The Supervising Attorney will be responsible for managing personal injury cases prior to litigation, ensuring our clients receive the best possible representation and support. This role involves evaluating case merits, negotiating with insurance companies, and preparing legal documents to facilitate a successful outcome. The ideal candidate will have experience in personal injury law and will be responsible for managing and negotiating claims prior to litigation. This role is crucial in ensuring clients receive the appropriate compensation while avoiding the complexities of court proceedings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and assess personal injury claims to determine the validity and value of the case.
  • Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and provide updates on their case status.
  • Negotiate settlements with insurance adjusters and opposing parties to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
  • Draft legal documents, including demand letters and settlement agreements, ensuring compliance with legal standards.
  • Conduct thorough investigations, including gathering evidence, medical records, and witness statements to support claims.
  • Maintain detailed records of case files and correspondence to ensure proper documentation and case management.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active state bar license to practice law.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in personal injury law, with a focus on pre-litigation matters preferred.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to advocate effectively for clients.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients and insurance representatives.
  • Proficient in legal research and writing, with a keen attention to detail.
