Opportunity overview:
Spoke with the hiring manager for this role earlier today, and he's looking for an experienced Civil estimator who can come in and help grow their sitework division up to around $10M in revenue.
This particular team that you'd be joining specializes in what I'd call light earthwork (clearing grub, base rocks, building pads etc) and focuses primarily on projects between $500,000-$1,000,000M.
You do NOT need experience with utilities or deep foundations or 'heavy civil' type experience. If you're a construction estimator with 5+ years of sitework/paving experience, please apply today!
Role Description:
Senior Site Estimator The Senior Site Estimator will lead the evaluation and measurement of site projects, focusing on reading blueprints and producing detailed quantity take-offs. This role involves both office and fieldwork to gain hands-on knowledge of services and operations.
Key responsibilities include performing quantity take-offs, requesting vendor pricing, preparing bid packages, using Microsoft Office and Takeoff Software (PLANSWIFT), managing project schedules, and handling change orders. The Senior Site Estimator will also mentor junior estimators and contribute to strategic planning.
