Plant Operations Manager

Position Overview
The Plant Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the manufacturing plant, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met. This role involves managing staff, optimizing production processes, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the manufacturing plant to ensure production goals are met.
- Implement and monitor production schedules to optimize efficiency.
- Manage and lead a team of production workers, providing guidance and training as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
- Utilize Six Sigma methodologies to identify areas for improvement and drive operational excellence.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and assessments of production staff.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as quality assurance and supply chain, to ensure smooth operations.
- Analyze production data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in plant operations and manufacturing management - willing to be on the floor up to 80% of the time
- Strong knowledge of operations, plant, and manufacturing processes.
- Strong Six Sigma principles and methodologies.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
