Maintenance Manager
Position Overview
The Maintenance Manager will oversee and manage the maintenance operations within the manufacturing facility, ensuring the efficient and effective upkeep of equipment and systems. This role is crucial for maintaining production efficiency, safety standards, and compliance with environmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies to improve equipment reliability and performance.
- Manage and coordinate all maintenance activities, including preventive maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track maintenance tasks and performance metrics.
- Lead a team of maintenance technicians and provide training and development opportunities.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to schedule maintenance activities with minimal disruption to operations.
- Manage budgets related to maintenance activities and control expenditures on materials and services.
- Identify and source vendors for maintenance services and equipment parts.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
- Proven experience in maintenance management within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance best practices and CMMS software.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to analyze data and improve maintenance practices based on metrics.
- Familiarity with budgeting and financial management in a maintenance context.
- Experience with preventative maintenance programs (PPM) and reliability-centered maintenance.
