Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician I

Location: Harahan, LA

Shift: 2nd Shift (1pm - 9:30pm)

Position Overview
The Industrial Maintenance Technician I is responsible for performing routine maintenance and repair tasks on various industrial equipment and systems. This role aims to ensure optimal functionality, safety, and reliability of machinery and equipment within the facility.

Key Responsibilities

Perform routine preventive maintenance on industrial machinery and equipment.
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues to identify and resolve problems efficiently.
Conduct hydraulic and pneumatic repairs to maintain system performance.
Assist with boiler and steam system maintenance and repairs.
Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to guide maintenance activities.
Support HVAC system maintenance and troubleshooting efforts.
Document maintenance activities and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in a related field is preferred.
Experience in industrial maintenance or a similar role.
Proficiency in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting techniques.
Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic repair processes.
Understanding of boiler and steam systems operation and maintenance.
Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and diagrams.
Previous experience with HVAC systems is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
