We are seeking a Bridge Design Structural Engineer to fill an immediate opening in our growing Engineering Group. The successful candidate will have a minimum of five years of design experience, specifically in the bridge engineering field, and will be responsible for design and production of detailed structural drawings for a variety of bridge and road projects.
Qualifications:
5+ years working as a bridge designer
NYS Professional Engineering license preferred but not required
Report writing skills
Proficiency in AutoCAD and MicroStation
B.S. Civil Engineering
Familiar with New York State Department of Transportation specifications
Ability to design prestressed concrete or steel girder bridges according to NYS standards and codes
Familiar with the LDSA process for working with local municipalities
