Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Controls Engineer to design, develop, and implement control systems for various industrial applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation and electrical engineering, with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize control processes to enhance efficiency and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop control systems for manufacturing processes and equipment.
Program PLCs and configure SCADA systems to monitor and control operations.
Develop HMI interfaces for user interaction with control systems.
Conduct troubleshooting and maintenance of control systems and equipment.
Collaborate with the engineering team to integrate systems and ensure compatibility.
Implement process control strategies to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
Utilize simulation tools such as Simulink and Matlab for system modeling and analysis.
Coordinate project activities, including system integration and documentation.
Ensure compliance with NEC and NFPA standards in all designs and implementations.
Prepare detailed engineering drawings using AutoCAD and other CAD tools.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, or a related field.
Proven experience in PLC programming and SCADA system implementation.
Strong knowledge of HMI development and automation technologies.
Experience with robotics and process control systems.
Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical and control system issues.
Familiarity with industrial networks and instrumentation.
Understanding of PID control strategies and applications.
Experience with system integration and project management.
Proficient in using AutoCAD and CAD software for engineering design.
Knowledge of relevant safety and regulatory standards, including NEC and NFPA.
