Location: Boston, MA

Position Overview
The CNC Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce precision parts according to specifications. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality, ensuring that the production process runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC machines to produce parts according to engineering specifications.
Monitor and adjust machine settings to ensure optimal performance and quality of finished products.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment to minimize downtime.
Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to understand production requirements.
Conduct quality checks on finished products and document results to ensure compliance with company standards.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve processes and product quality.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in CNC machining preferred.
Proven experience as a CNC operator, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with CNC programming and operation of various CNC machines.
Knowledge of materials including plastics and metal stamping.
Experience with laser die cutting and 3D printing technology is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Excellent problem-solving skills and commitment to safety protocols.
