Audit Staff

Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Audit Staff member to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in conducting audits for a variety of clients, including private entities and not-for-profit organizations. This position offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth in the field of auditing, particularly in employee benefit audits.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in planning and conducting audits for private entities and non-profit organizations
Perform fieldwork and gather necessary audit evidence
Prepare working papers and documentation supporting audit findings
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
Communicate with clients to obtain information and address concerns
Stay updated on auditing standards and regulations
Collaborate with senior auditors and other team members to complete audit assignments

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
CPA eligible or currently pursuing CPA certification
Experience or coursework in private audits, NFP audits, and employee benefit audits is a plus
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software
