Position: Audit Manager
Salary: $90,000 - $150,000
Location: San Diego, California
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Audit Manager to join our growing team in San Diego. At Lavine, Lofgren, Morris & Engelberg, LLP, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional client service while fostering a culture of professional growth and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and review audit engagements across diverse industries.
Identify key audit risk areas and design tailored audit approaches.
Supervise engagements and keep partners updated on project status.
Research and analyze technical guidance, providing clear recommendations to partners.
Build strong client relationships and ensure timely issuance of financial statements.
Mentor and evaluate staff by reviewing workpapers, conducting performance reviews, and offering constructive feedback.
Contribute to internal education initiatives and staff development programs.
Support business development efforts by participating in prospect meetings and marketing activities.
What We're Looking For:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; CPA required.
At least 5 years of audit experience, with 2+ years in a supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of audit standards, risk assessment, and compliance.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
A proactive approach to managing projects and fostering client relationships.
