We are currently looking for an ambitious and experienced Assistant Superintendent to join our team in the heavy civil construction of the MTA Rail and Subway systems. The Assistant Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing the daily duties of a crew of construction workers, communicating with supervisors and partners, and ensuring projects are completed within budget and on time.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure all work performed is in compliance with safety standards and all applicable guidelines.
Assist the Superintendent in managing crews, delegating tasks, and evaluating performance.
Mentor and train Foremen and laborers.
Maintain clear and consistent communication with supervisors, partners, and other stakeholders.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the construction project.
Ensure the construction project is completed on time and within budget.
Ensure the work is in compliance with ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act), NYCTA (New York City Transit Authority), and other applicable regulations.

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in heavy civil construction.
3+ years of experience as a Foreman in the MTA Rail and Subway systems.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to effectively manage and mentor a crew of construction workers.
Strong understanding of safety standards and regulations.
Knowledge of ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) and NYCTA (New York City Transit Authority) regulations.
